The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lennart De Lauw. Het Koffiehuis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Lennart De Lauw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart De Lauw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Het Koffiehuis's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lennart De Lauw came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart De Lauw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Lennart De Lauw didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Het Koffiehuis's Vincent Van Achten got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Katona Janos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lennart De Lauw. In the 34th match minute, Het Koffiehuis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lode Melkval to maneuver through the defense. Lennart De Lauw didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antal Valentin went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Lennart De Lauw. Het Koffiehuis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Lennart De Lauw didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Het Koffiehuis's goalkeeper Lennart De Lauw, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lennart De Lauw dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Christoff Van Bets took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. 63 minutes into the match, Major Barna dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lennart De Lauw, 1-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Lennart De Lauw in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 played minutes Het Koffiehuis got a freekick which was hit by Lode Melkval. Lennart De Lauw was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Major Barna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-9 in the 72 minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Major Barna got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 77 played minutes Het Koffiehuis got a freekick which was hit by Jaques Van Gertsuyden. Lennart De Lauw made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes in the game, Antal Valentin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lennart De Lauw having to interfere. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Het Koffiehuis's Lennart De Lauw got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Koffidis in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute Abel Daniels suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Het Koffiehuis made a substitution. Pieter-Maarten De Schutter replaced Abel Daniels. Lennart De Lauw was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Antal Valentin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antal Valentin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-10. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
