Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zac O'Donnell started the match with the kick off. Alexander Higgins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ekaitz Companys's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Alexander Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmine Capasso in the 10th minute of play. Ekaitz Companys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evangelista Torres took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Deportivo La Coruña's Ekaitz Companys in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scotland's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Ekaitz Companys's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Higgins was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ekaitz Companys sped through Scotland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alexander Higgins. Ekaitz Companys scored 0-5 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Higgins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexander Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekaitz Companys in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Ashton Nelson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopold Minđek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexander Higgins having to make a save. Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ekaitz Companys in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Carmine Capasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Higgins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ekaitz Companys to make the kick off. Scotland's Alexander Higgins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekaitz Companys in the 56th minute of play. Alexander Higgins came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo La Coruña's José Llinares. But to his dismay, José Llinares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After 61 minutes, Ekaitz Companys made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Scotland's Alexander Higgins tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ekaitz Companys in the 63rd minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Scotland got a freekick which was hit by Ayaan McGowan. José Llinares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute José Llinares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Higgins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th match minute, Deportivo La Coruña was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ekaitz Companys to maneuver through the defense. Evangelista Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Ashton Nelson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-9. Eusebio Ibanez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alexander Higgins made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Ekaitz Companys sent off a good shot on target. The Scotland fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo La Coruña were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
