Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Darkwing Ducks's goalkeeper Søren Kvols, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roberto-Carlos da Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. Enzo Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Darkwing Ducks's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Søren Kvols reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Søren Kvols saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto-Carlos da Silva in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto-Carlos da Silva in the 33rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Roberto-Carlos da Silva scored to the left of an out of position Arnout Reekers, making the score, 1-0. After having played for 40 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Darkwing Ducks's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Søren Kvols reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tage Eilersgaard kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roberto-Carlos da Silva to make the kick off. Darkwing Ducks's Søren Kvols played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 53rd minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 1-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Søren Kvols, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Søren Kvols having to interfere. Enzo Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Søren Kvols made a huge save. 63 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Søren Kvols. Gustaaf Groeneveldt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto-Carlos da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 75 minutes, Ulrik Haxby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Darkwing Ducks and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ulrik Haxby hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. Søren Kvols made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 79th minute. Søren Kvols made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 83rd minute of play. Darkwing Ducks's Enzo Peres quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kees Mooiweer, made in the 85th minute of the game. Darkwing Ducks's attentive Roberto-Carlos da Silva managed to snatch the ball when Kees Mooiweer made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. Søren Kvols made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 88th minute of play. Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Søren Kvols in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 90th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Darkwing Ducks's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Darkwing Ducks's Søren Kvols managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 94th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Netherlands had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
