Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Tingelholm in the 7th minute of play. San Felice a Ema U.L.'s Bruno Antognoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Felipe Barreto went to the cornerflag to take it. Felipe Barreto made a great header on Portugal's corner, it was just that San Felice a Ema U.L.'s Bruno Antognoni managed to reach the ball for a save. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by A.J. R. Hansen in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Almeida in the 13th minute of play forced San Felice a Ema U.L.'s goalkeeper Bruno Antognoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caetano Moreira scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Antognoni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to San Felice a Ema U.L. getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ciccio Gargano hit a great ball. Björn Tingelholm received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilson Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but Björn Tingelholm slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Patrick Donnellson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruno Antognoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Antognoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Antognoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, San Felice a Ema U.L.'s goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Bruno Antognoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bruno Antognoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Antognoni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Antognoni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After 43 minutes, Felipe Barreto made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. San Felice a Ema U.L.'s Bruno Antognoni tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Tingelholm in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. Viriato Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Bruno Antognoni made a huge save. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from A.J. R. Hansen, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Tingelholm in the 56th minute of play. Hansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. San Felice a Ema U.L.'s Giovanni Garro was substituted for Björn Tingelholm. Paşa Corre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paşa Corre in the 70th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Giovanni Garro notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Portugal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Pimentel in the 74th minute. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paşa Corre in the 75th minute of play. Bartolomeu Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, A.J. R. Hansen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Portugal's Graciano Coutinho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 82 minutes in the game, Felipinho Amorim fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bruno Antognoni having to interfere. Bruno Antognoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Portugal got a corner. San Felice a Ema U.L.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Pimentel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bruno Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Giovanni Garro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Bruno Antognoni threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bartolomeu Dias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. San Felice a Ema U.L. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
