Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valentin Oro, made in the 8th minute of the game. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aggelos Lazopoulos in the 10th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aggelos Lazopoulos in the 23rd minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Godfredo Erruki sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Pedro Luiz Arantes got a free kick in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Quentin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Godfredo Erruki, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Valentin Oro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnout Reekers. That made the score 1-1 after 31 minutes of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Virgilio Quentin made a huge save. Wim Wilmes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Quentin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merten Münch in the 71st minute of the match. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Quentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute Hector Azeari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 minutes, Godfredo Erruki made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Virgilio Quentin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC from getting a goal against them. Virgilio Quentin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Netherlands had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
