Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 17th minute of play forced COSQUIN SFC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Olivar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Meesters in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Olivar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Beltrán. Ciriaco Olivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Lucas Beltrán tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciriaco Olivar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Well-Well Chițan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Olivar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 45th minute of the match. Balthazar Van Castel kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Beltrán stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ciriaco Olivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Eikelkamp in the 55th minute of play. Ciriaco Olivar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute Lucas Beltrán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Lars Meesters cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ciriaco Olivar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd minute, Luis Rumaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 77th minute of play forced COSQUIN SFC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Olivar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Rumaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Well-Well Chițan put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. COSQUIN SFC had won after a very even match.
