When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hao Jian Yuan made a kick off. The attack was good, but when Sigfrido Auletta in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Enzo Francescoli struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb. In the 84th minute Siricio Liotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Belmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Vittori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prudencio Ralondo went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Italy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eduardo Orlanda was slow to take the kick. During this time Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's players had a chance to rest. Italy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
