Fryderyk Witwicki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zachariasz Chmielecki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Big Buh hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radomil Golota in the 39th minute. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tytus Ranowiecki hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Zachariasz Chmielecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radomil Golota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in APPLE KIELCE 1985's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zachariasz Chmielecki came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Tytus Ranowiecki came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Sándor in the 65th minute of play. APPLE KIELCE 1985's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pierre-Emerick Claudepierre in the 66th minute. APPLE KIELCE 1985's Pierre-Emerick Claudepierre was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Major Barna sped through APPLE KIELCE 1985's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zachariasz Chmielecki. In the 80th minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Chmielecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Sándor in the 84th minute of play. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Sándor in the 88th minute of play. After 92 minutes of play, APPLE KIELCE 1985's Oliver Sándor made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle, APPLE KIELCE 1985 could leave the field as winners, despite Hungary having more of the ball for most of the match.
