In the 9th minute, Frank Sachs made a precise shot to the right of Bertil Hellgren. Färnäs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 12 played minutes Färnäs got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Nordin. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertil Hellgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Leo Kling received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Leo Kling slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 34th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt-Arne Simonsson went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Alvar Gerdberg sent off a good shot on target. Alvar Gerdberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Willy Stieler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Färnäs the free kick. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvar Gerdberg was the one to do the kick off. Bengt-Arne Simonsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bengt-Arne Simonsson ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Färnäs getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Gustav Nordin hit a great ball. Sven Krakouer hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Ström came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Färnäs booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Bertil Hellgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hannes Ström came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Färnäs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hannes Ström couldn't finish the play. Färnäs were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Germany to leave the ground with a draw.
