In the 7th match minute, The Vikings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wawrzyniec Niezywy to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute of the match Samuele Kunz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobiasz Kilarski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Lukasz Solak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Vikings's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Switzerland the free kick. A collision led to The Vikings getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Lukasz Solak hit a great ball. With his leg Hias Nüssli managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when The Vikings's Lukasz Solak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Boguslaw Lenertej hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes The Vikings got a freekick which was hit by Mikolaj Bartochowski. During the 28th minute of the match Wawrzyniec Niezywy completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wawrzyniec Niezywy a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Wawrzyniec Niezywy hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Rodrigo von Känel hit a great ball. Lukasz Solak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Hias Nüssli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Ulryk Modliszewski fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Vikings's protests and gave Ulryk Modliszewski a yellow card for diving instead. 44 minutes into the match, Samuele Kunz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobiasz Kilarski. The Vikings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuele Kunz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Samuele Kunz made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukasz Solak in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hias Nüssli saved Switzerland from getting behind. 59 minutes into the game, Jacinto Maurer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tobiasz Kilarski. Jacinto Maurer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lukasz Solak in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hias Nüssli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hias Nüssli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukasz Solak in the 75th minute of the match. Hias Nüssli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukasz Solak in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Timo Siegmund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Switzerland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Vikings the free kick. After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Timo Siegmund got a free kick in the 79th minute. Lukasz Solak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hias Nüssli having to interfere.
