The referee showed Bartolo Harkaitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bartolo Harkaitz hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Paulino Lamberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 played minutes San Martin de Tucuman got a freekick which was hit by Petr Schejbal. After a long run with the ball, Antal Valentin did a trick in the 43rd minute in front of San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 0-2. An impressive performance by Hungary's Antal Valentin! In the 46th minute, Bakos Endre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justino Confesor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Major Barna sped through San Martin de Tucuman's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cecilio Jax. In the 55th minute, Bakos Endre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justino Confesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Cecilio Jax had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balazs Lajos. San Martin de Tucuman's Cecilio Jax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 63rd minute of play. San Martin de Tucuman's Cecilio Jax proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save San Martin de Tucuman from getting a goal against them. The supporters of San Martin de Tucuman booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takacs Tibor didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bakos Endre fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Bakos Endre a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Bakos Endre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Vitin in the 90th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than San Martin de Tucuman.
