After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Frederik Dhondt got a free kick in the 6th minute. Nistor Maghiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Minerul Baita -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederik Dhondt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nistor Maghiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciprian Alexe in the 15th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Minerul Baita -MM- were awarded a corner. Maksymilian Bulkiewicz went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 20th minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Nistor Maghiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Alexe came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Maksymilian Bulkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nistor Maghiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 29 minutes, David Eikelkamp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Eikelkamp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Bruno Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes Minerul Baita -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. When Maksymilian Bulkiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minerul Baita -MM-'s protests and gave Maksymilian Bulkiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Minerul Baita -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maksymilian Bulkiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Maksymilian Bulkiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minerul Baita -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Maksymilian Bulkiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Alexe, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. David Eikelkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Nistor Maghiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Birișu in the 60th minute of play. Nistor Maghiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Eikelkamp in the 61st minute. David Eikelkamp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Nistor Maghiar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Maksymilian Bulkiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Bruno Guimarães hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Alexe came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 70th minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Nistor Maghiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nistor Maghiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 71st minute of play. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 75th minute of play. Minerul Baita -MM- were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maksymilian Bulkiewicz took the corner. The corner led Minerul Baita -MM-'s Maksymilian Bulkiewicz to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnout Reekers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Shearer in the 87th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Frederik Dhondt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute Minerul Baita -MM- were awarded a corner. Maksymilian Bulkiewicz went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Minerul Baita -MM-'s corner Maksymilian Bulkiewicz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. Netherlands played a much better game than Minerul Baita -MM- and deserved their victory. The Minerul Baita -MM- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
