In the 31st minute of the match, Caetano Domingues got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gabriel Ascaso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Caetano Domingues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Gabriel Ascaso made a huge save. Lite Finare Lite Bättre were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Spain's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tord Stolpe took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tord Stolpe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gabriel Ascaso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Peter Belkå made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Toledo in the 39th minute of play forced Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goalkeeper Peter Belkå to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Benedicto Bihar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Bihar in the 47th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedicto Bihar to make the kick off. Omar Toledos short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Peter Belkå to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Omar Toledo had several of the Lite Finare Lite Bättre's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Peter Belkå as he didn't even see the shot coming. Peter Belkå made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Toledo in the 63rd minute. Peter Belkå made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Aranda in the 68th minute of play. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Domingues in the 74th minute of play. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Peter Belkå proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Lite Finare Lite Bättre from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 79th minute of play forced Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goalkeeper Peter Belkå to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Caetano Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Spain's Pau Herrero was substituted for David Aranda. After a defensive mix-up in Spain's zone, Benedicto Bihar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal and Benedicto Bihar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Peter Belkå managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Spain's Carles Cherro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Spain eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
