An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 41st minute of play forced FC MIDWAY's goalkeeper Nuh Sönmezalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuh Sönmezalp having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. Nuh Sönmezalp was a little too slow when Janik Vogt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-3. Nuh Sönmezalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 64 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuh Sönmezalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 73rd minute. FC MIDWAY's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Janik Vogt scored to the left of an out of position Nuh Sönmezalp, making the score, 0-4. A hard shot 82 in the game by Frank Sachs from a close distance when the talented Nuh Sönmezalp managed to make a qualified save. FC MIDWAY's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 84th minute of play forced FC MIDWAY's goalkeeper Nuh Sönmezalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute of the match, Frank Sachs got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nuh Sönmezalp was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Chris Mergenthaler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuh Sönmezalp having to interfere.
