Abdi Ufki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Abdi Ufki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Sebastian Murry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael de Amorim in the 22nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdi Ufki having to interfere. 2-0 became the score in the 29th minute when Sebastian Murry elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Abdi Ufki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 68th minute Sebastian Murry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natanael de Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Czarna Hańcza Suwałki's Abdi Ufki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Czarna Hańcza Suwałki from getting a goal against them. When Malte Schiele fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Malte Schiele a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natanael de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
