The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paradorn Todor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Paradorn Todor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 19th minute of play. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Rudi Bremke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 28 minutes into the game, Wang Di Hai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Wang Di Hai sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rudi Bremke made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudi Bremke in the 56th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimeno Feliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Major Barna's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Paradorn Todor firmly grabbed it by the left post. With an all-out effort, Hungary's Paradorn Todor threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Takacs Tibor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Barça Salvadoreño FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fatbardh Malko in the 81st minute. Barça Salvadoreño FC's Fatbardh Malko was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maggi Gonzáles in the 84th minute of the match. Boros Benedek hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Fatbardh Malko struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barça Salvadoreño FC. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiro Piedra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Barça Salvadoreño FC's Maggi Gonzáles got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Barça Salvadoreño FC's goalkeeper Paradorn Todor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. When the referee blew the final whistle, Barça Salvadoreño FC could leave the field as winners, despite Hungary having more of the ball for most of the match.
