Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Ermano having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Ermano was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Frank Sachs put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jose Ermano. After 33 minutes of play, Germany's Frank Sachs made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The supporters of ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes in the game Malte Schiele did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Frank Sachs. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Sachs scored 0-6 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jose Ermano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frank Sachs came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jose Ermano could save by the left post. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jose Ermano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute, Germany's Albin Holweck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jose Ermano. Jose Ermano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Chris Mergenthaler got a throw-in 73 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Frank Sachs. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute, Germany's Albin Holweck dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Jose Ermano made a huge save. Jose Ermano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 92nd minute of the match. A throw-in in the 95th minute of the game was made by Willy Stieler with Albin Holweck as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Linus Schwerner made in the 96th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Fabio Onofre. Germany's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
