Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernán Crespo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albin Holweck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Ruisko having to make a save. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Gonzalez. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernán Crespo in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to El Millo de Haedo getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Bayezit Akçabay hit a great ball. Fernando Ruisko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Sachs went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 26 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernán Crespo in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, El Millo de Haedo's Anier Christobal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hernán Crespo to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernando Ruisko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 52nd minute. After 57 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by El Millo de Haedo's Carolo Lope. But to his dismay, Carolo Lope quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 63rd minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of El Millo de Haedo booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Hernán Crespo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aurelio Aureo struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Millo de Haedo. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Aureo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Remigio Uhin was slow to take the kick. During this time El Millo de Haedo's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Pedro Gonzalez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. El Millo de Haedo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. After a rather tough play, El Millo de Haedo's Jeremias Ereinotz got a free kick in the 90th minute.
