Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wagner Kill took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Wagner Kill kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Benicio Maurin came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wilson Amorim could save by the left post. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wagner Kill in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 11th minute of play forced Diablofaryd F.C.'s goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Graciano Coutinho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Grzegorz Szamotulski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fabricio Andrade hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Grzegorz Szamotulski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Edelmiro Lorenz sent off a good shot on target. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wagner Kill in the 17th minute of the match. Grzegorz Szamotulski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute Gunnar Deisler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benicio Maurin. Grzegorz Szamotulski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chan Cho hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute of the match Felipe Barreto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Grzegorz Szamotulski skillfully saved the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grzegorz Szamotulski. Diablofaryd F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Grzegorz Szamotulski in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Grzegorz Szamotulski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Grzegorz Szamotulski was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Felipe Barreto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felipe Barreto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The throw-in from Benicio Maurin in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wagner Kill in the 60th minute of play. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wagner Kill in the 62nd minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wagner Kill in the 64th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Deisler in the 66th minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Deisler, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Gaston Bingen's late challenge caught a Portugal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Bingen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Bartolomeu Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Maurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Grzegorz Szamotulski threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felipinho Amorim, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wagner Kill might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wagner Kill ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the match, Camilo Costa notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Diablofaryd F.C.'s Grzegorz Szamotulski. Grzegorz Szamotulski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Portugal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
