To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murathan Paye in the 7th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gencal Sazak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Frank Sachs put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of İzzet Akşit. If Fahrettin Rasim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Germany's Albin Holweck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. İzzet Akşit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Murathan Paye sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 21 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Archie Mullen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Murathan Paye kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-2 in the 30 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Murathan Paye's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Murathan Payes short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Tommy Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murathan Paye in the 39th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Archie Mullen was slow to take the kick. During this time İki Gözümün Çiçeği's players had a chance to rest. Archie Mullen made a great header on İki Gözümün Çiçeği's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save.

The wind increased when Murathan Paye made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murathan Paye in the 57th managed to get into a good position. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Janik Vogt hit a great ball. There was no doubt that İki Gözümün Çiçeği were the better team. İki Gözümün Çiçeği's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
