Strömsbro IF's Per-Olof Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Enol in the 19th minute of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Martin Enol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PLUMIN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Enol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Thomas Lövkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albano Medardo was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as PLUMIN's Martin Enol slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Per-Olof Walroth. That made the score 1-1 after 48 minutes of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hannes Larsson made a kick off. Hannes Larsson hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Jan-Erik Ingemarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Martin Enol fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PLUMIN's protests and gave Martin Enol a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in PLUMIN's zone, Hannes Larsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Medardo came out of the goal and Hannes Larsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Gerardo Paio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Martin Enol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 96 minutes into the match, Thomas Lövkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albano Medardo. PLUMIN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Lövkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Strömsbro IF were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over PLUMIN's much stronger midfield.
