Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bonifacio Cresconio started the match with the kick off. When Bonifacio Cresconio came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Club Atlético Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Cresconio couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the game, one of Club Atlético Atlanta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Clube Atlético Luziense booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Cresconio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Rodrigues in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Salvatore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melquiades Salvatore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavinho Luz went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Artemio Jaunti might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jairo Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artemio Jaunti ran back to his position shaking his head. The nice shot from Bonifacio Cresconio in the 17thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Jairo Fonseca had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Melquiades Salvatore came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atlético Luziense's Luciano Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Luciano Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Luziense's Flavinho Luz got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 30 minutes, Pedro Rojelio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the Clube Atlético Luziense players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Rojelio to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Salvatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Rodrigues in the 31st minute of play. Jairo Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Cresconio in the 38th minute of the match. Geraldo de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Melquiades Salvatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luciano Rodrigues to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Bonifacio Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Flavinho Luz fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atlético Luziense's protests and gave Flavinho Luz a yellow card for diving instead. Flavinho Luz hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Melquiades Salvatore made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Luciano Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute Geraldo de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Salvatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 played minutes Clube Atlético Luziense got a freekick which was hit by Flavinho Luz. When Erasmo Toscano fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atlético Luziense's protests and gave Erasmo Toscano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Erasmo Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Teobaldo Milian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Severino Rojelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Cresconio in the 88th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Luziense's goalkeeper Jairo Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso de Amaral hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
