Clube Atlético Luziense's Jairo Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidnei Gerber in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute Cristian Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo de Sena in the 9th minute of play forced Qjos MiLLano's goalkeeper Caio Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kauan de Mendonça fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Qjos MiLLano's protests and gave Kauan de Mendonça a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Qjos MiLLano getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Kauan de Mendonça hit a great ball. Flavinho Luz, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 13th match minute, Qjos MiLLano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Luciano Rodrigues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube Atlético Luziense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 18th minute, Clube Atlético Luziense's Bernardinho Dante seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bernardinho Dante the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Clube Atlético Luziense protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bernardinho Dante had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Luziense's Bernardinho Dante got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Kauan de Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Qjos MiLLano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauan de Mendonça couldn't finish the play. Clube Atlético Luziense's Jairo Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Munhoz in the 22nd minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Sidnei Gerber notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Clube Atlético Luziense's Jairo Fonseca. Jairo Fonseca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th minute, Kauan de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavinho Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Qjos MiLLano were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the game, Clube Atlético Luziense's Gerson Furlan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caio Ferreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Wellington Bezerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Jairo Fonseca made a huge save. Clube Atlético Luziense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Mário Urbano scored to the left of an out of position Jairo Fonseca, making the score, 2-3. Caio Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Délio Loyola during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Clube Atlético Luziense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Délio Loyola to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Mário Urbano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jairo Fonseca. Clube Atlético Luziense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mário Urbano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. In the 95th match minute, Clube Atlético Luziense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Urbano to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube Atlético Luziense's goalkeeper Jairo Fonseca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
