Celso de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Antoni Badanowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jairo Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Astral's Wincent Kosiorek got a free kick in the 9th minute. Teobald Puch came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atlético Luziense's Luciano Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Luciano Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Clube Atlético Luziense booed when Astral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincent Kosiorek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Luziense's Geraldo de Sena got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18thth minute of the game Wit Damaski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube Atlético Luziense's Jairo Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Délio Loyola hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. A collision led to Astral getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Remigiusz Gruchacz hit a great ball. Teobald Puch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Rodrigues in the 24th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Cristian Urbano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astral's Teobald Puch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Cristian Urbano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teobald Puch. Astral's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Urbano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 37 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Luziense's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Badanowski came free, but Jairo Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Fonseca came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Astral's Remigiusz Gruchacz. But to his dismay, Remigiusz Gruchacz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Cristian Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remigiusz Gruchacz's late challenge caught a Clube Atlético Luziense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigiusz Gruchacz helped the player get up and apologised. Remigiusz Gruchacz hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luciano Rodrigues made a kick off. Wit Damaski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Fonseca having to interfere. Astral's Teobald Puch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Rodrigues in the 63rd minute of play. When Kléberson Siqueira fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atlético Luziense's protests and gave Kléberson Siqueira a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Astral booed when Clube Atlético Luziense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo de Sena in the 71st minute of play forced Astral's goalkeeper Teobald Puch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavinho Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to Clube Atlético Luziense getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Eurico Massa hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Luziense's goalkeeper Jairo Fonseca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antoni Badanowski. Teobald Puch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Rodrigues in the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Antoni Badanowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jairo Fonseca. Clube Atlético Luziense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antoni Badanowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Urbano in the 95th minute of play forced Astral's goalkeeper Teobald Puch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Clube Atlético Luziense supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Astral's performance. The match ended with a win for Astral.
