In the 3rd minute Bilal Pekant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Los Tatangelos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ümit Durukan to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Luciano Rodrigues could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Tamer Siraceddin however easily saved by the left post. Jairo Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yusuf Beykan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 played minutes Los Tatangelos got a freekick which was hit by Yusuf Beykan. Luciano Rodriguess short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Tamer Siraceddin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Yusuf Ziya Suhan's late challenge caught a Clube Atlético Luziense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yusuf Ziya Suhan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Los Tatangelos's Yusuf Ziya Suhan got a free kick in the 38th minute. Jairo Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yusuf Ziya Suhan in the 40th minute of the match. A collision led to Clube Atlético Luziense getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Délio Loyola hit a great ball. Gerson Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Tamer Siraceddin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yusuf Beykan to strike the kick off in the second half. Jairo Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yusuf Beykan in the 53rd minute of the match. Tamer Siraceddin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Rodrigues in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Bilal Pekant fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jairo Fonseca, passed just outside the right post. When Bilal Pekant, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 56 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jairo Fonseca was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cristian Urbano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tamer Siraceddin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Clube Atlético Luziense getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Geraldo de Sena hit a great ball. If Bilal Pekant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bilal Pekant in the 76th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Luziense's goalkeeper Jairo Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Los Tatangelos getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Yusuf Beykan hit a great ball. With a little luck, Clube Atlético Luziense's Jairo Fonseca got control of the ball when Bilal Pekant tried to sneak it across the goal line. Los Tatangelos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
