Italy's Sansone Vanella was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paulin Sequeiros in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Italy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
