After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cengizhan Şahistan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Jerzy Urban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Franciszek Bienienda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franciszek Bienienda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karol Zdeb went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. FC Krotoszyn's Franciszek Piechna couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Germany. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute Karol Zdeb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1. FC Krotoszyn's Cengizhan Şahistan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Germany booed when 1. FC Krotoszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Pawelczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Karol Zdeb who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Zdeb came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to 1. FC Krotoszyn getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Herbert Pawelczyk hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, 1. FC Krotoszyn's Herbert Pawelczyk got a free kick in the 89th minute.
