Venancio Olayo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Du Yuan Chao, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. LVCVS AVGVSTI's attentive Felipe Gutierrez managed to snatch the ball when Linus Schwerner made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatolio Lozano in the 27th minute of play. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, LVCVS AVGVSTI's Tommy Kahn threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Du Yuan Chao, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Baldomero Chano tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 44th minute of play forced LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper Rosario Escarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Rosario Escarza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Aníbal Ríos charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aníbal Ríos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to LVCVS AVGVSTI getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Aníbal Ríos hit a great ball. In the 60th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Krakouer to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Du Yuan Chao, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Dominic Toretto was substituted for Aníbal Ríos. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Gutierrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Chano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Baldomero Chano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felipe Gutierrez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. LVCVS AVGVSTI had won after a very even match.
