After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Niclas Jakobsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Niclas Jakobsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Övertorneå RK's attentive Igor Erroman managed to snatch the ball when Fabricio Andrade made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niclas Jakobsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Övertorneå RK's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Pimentel came free, but Austen Willis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Niclas Jakobsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Övertorneå RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Niclas Jakobsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niclas Jakobsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niclas Jakobsson ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Jakobsson in the 18th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niclas Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Jakobsson in the 23rd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Niclas Jakobsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Faustino Almeida got a throw-in 31 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Daniel Pimentel. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Jakobsson in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 34th minute of play forced Övertorneå RK's goalkeeper Austen Willis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Felipe Barreto made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Övertorneå RK's Austen Willis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 54th minute Niclas Jakobsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 minutes Portugal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vilhelm Trulsson who took care of the corner kick. Felipe Barreto took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Austen Willis. Austen Willis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 62 minutes into the match, Övertorneå RK's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Austen Willis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felipe Barreto in the 63rd minute. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niclas Jakobsson in the 66th minute of play. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Niclas Jakobsson put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Wilson Amorim. Övertorneå RK made a substitution. August Bergendahl replaced Kurt-Jürgen Kurri. Övertorneå RK's Allan Pettersson was substituted for Niclas Jakobsson. In the 78th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Pimentel to maneuver through the defense. Fabricio Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Pettersson came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Austen Willis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Pettersson in the 93rd minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
