Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 6th minute. Limburg United's Fredrik Terwenhout shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tommy Kahn but with some difficulty. Fredrik Terwenhout did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Tommy Kahn 12 minutes into the match. Anios Karaoulanis charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anios Karaoulanis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Limburg United getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Anios Karaoulanis hit a great ball. Sean Van Dijck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Sachs went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Fredrik Terwenhout got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 3-1. In the 26th minute of the match Anios Karaoulanis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Limburg United's Tommy Kahn threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fredrik Terwenhout, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fredrik Terwenhout showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 34 minute of play. Fredrik Terwenhout scored 6-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Brend Vanden Driessche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brend Vanden Driessche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Limburg United were the better team. Limburg United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
