Peep Pronk started the match with the kick off. Deodato Magliozzi made in the 4th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sigfrido Auletta however managed to control. In the 6th minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Eyague was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fulgencio Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Zaccheo Andolina made a precise shot to the right of Fulgencio Eyague. AC LeX Luthor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Fulgencio Eyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 24th minute of the match. Peep Pronk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Vittori having to make a save. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Peep Pronk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 29th minute of play. Peep Pronk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Flavio Vittori when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The supporters of Italy booed when AC LeX Luthor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelu Ioniță didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fulgencio Eyague. AC LeX Luthor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zaccheo Andolina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Peep Pronk took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. A collision led to AC LeX Luthor getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gelu Ioniță hit a great ball. In the 68thth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 70th minute of play. Deodato Magliozzi made in the 76th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Porziano Marchitelli however managed to control. Gelu Ioniță kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. In the 83rd minute, Gelu Ioniță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodion Nikitin in the 86th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of AC LeX Luthor booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gomberto Picozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Gomberto Picozzi. Italy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
