After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 41st minute, Alastair Moody got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trenel AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alastair Moody was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Misael, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Arnoldo Sandalio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balazs Lajos in the 78th minute. Alberto Montanari hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Hegedus Henrik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Arnoldo Sandalio made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Arnoldo Sandalio in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trenel AFC's Manfred Kjellqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute of the match Antal Valentin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnoldo Sandalio skillfully saved the ball. Trenel AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hungary had controlled the match.
