The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Recep Guftar in the 2nd minute of play. After 7 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luis Galarza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luis Galarza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Lluterio came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Kalatakaya F.C. booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenny Clocheret didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Amável Falcão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Casper Claes. Amável Falcão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Lluterio in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benito Lluterio in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 43rd minute of play forced Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Galarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Kalatakaya F.C. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Tonete Abaurre hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Amável Falcão came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Galarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Dervaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Recep Guftar in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Benito Lluterio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Casper Claes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Lluterio in the 63rd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Galarza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Benito Lluterio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casper Claes having to make a save. Kalatakaya F.C.'s Moises Kelemen was substituted for Recep Guftar. Luis Galarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 73rd minute of play. Benito Lluterio struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalatakaya F.C.. Benito Lluterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luis Galarza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 82nd minute. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute, Benito Lluterio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benito Lluterio in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kalatakaya F.C. were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Belgium's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alejandro Chumacero took the corner. Alejandro Chumacero made a great header on Kalatakaya F.C.'s corner, it was just that Belgium's Casper Claes managed to reach the ball for a save. Edward Vanderstraeten came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luis Galarza could save by the left post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
