Antal Valentin ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Hungary booed when A.C. Paulistano - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Giovani Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. In the 31st minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. Giovani Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giovani Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Feliks Maruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
