Caxias do Sul's Fodor Daniel threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benedykt Pankiewicz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A hard shot by Lei Feng Yan from long distance, 11 minutes into the match, got Fodor Daniel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience was convinced that Balazs Lajos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esen Sanal was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esen Sanal having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Benedykt Pankiewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the game, Hungary's Major Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Vörös Henrik heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 35 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Benedykt Pankiewicz came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Esen Sanal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Major Barna in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esen Sanal saved S.E.R. Caxias do Sul from getting behind. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Balazs Lajos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Esen Sanal quite easily take care of the ball. Ricardinho de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Esen Sanal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Ricardinho de Senna. But to his dismay, Ricardinho de Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul made a substitution. Mario Pochekanski replaced Benedykt Pankiewicz. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Lei Feng Yan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A hard shot 60 in the game by Antal Valentin from a close distance when the talented Esen Sanal managed to make a qualified save. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's players were relieved. In the 67thth minute of the game Mario Pochekanski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute S.E.R. Caxias do Sul were awarded a corner. Lei Feng Yan went to the cornerflag to take it. When Mario Pochekanski came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the S.E.R. Caxias do Sul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Pochekanski couldn't finish the play. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Pochekanski's shot from short distance in the 84th minute.
