After a defensive mix-up in Italy's zone, Luiz Fabiano Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal and Luiz Fabiano Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lu Zhen Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 23rd minute. The corner ended in Siricio Liotta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng did a great save. Eliseo Cutri kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Andrzej Zapolski made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 29th minute Porziano Marchitelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lu Zhen Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the DREAM TEAM WORLD defense, Zaccheo Andolina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lu Zhen Sheng. The DREAM TEAM WORLD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lu Zhen Sheng should have stopped the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. André Luís Lessard replaced Andrzej Zapolski. The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. Zaccheo Andolina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lu Zhen Sheng having to interfere. In the 99th minute of the match DREAM TEAM WORLD got a corner. Italy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luiz Fabiano Castro ran over to the corner to take the kick. DREAM TEAM WORLD's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
