Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Cordeiro in the 14th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Jusepe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. Real Còrdoba FC's Abel Jusepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 23rd minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 최 명. 최 명 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abel Jusepe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Abel Jusepe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Meesters's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Cordeiro came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Abel Jusepe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When David Eikelkamp came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Eikelkamp couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes in the game Andres Ferrari did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Dale Corre. Abel Jusepe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Abel Jusepe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 80th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Abel Jusepe in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Còrdoba FC's goalkeeper Abel Jusepe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Jusepe having to interfere. Abel Jusepe made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Egbert Nijveldt sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a precise shot to the right of Abel Jusepe. Real Còrdoba FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Lars Meesters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
