Natanael Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Rogério Alagoano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Fodor Daniel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Rogério Alagoano sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Major Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natanael Paraense. Goiás Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Major Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 30 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Natanael Paraense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes Goiás Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Mike Tyson. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Natanael Paraense having to make a save. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogério Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natanael Paraense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natanael Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Alagoano in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Szekeres Tamas had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Marcus Diniz's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Diniz helped the player get up and apologised. Hungary's Balogh Bela was substituted for Szekeres Tamas. Antal Valentin scored 0-4 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natanael Paraense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Natanael Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balazs Lajos in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Goiás Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Tyson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute Rogério Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Marcus Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Major Barnas short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Natanael Paraense to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Alagoano in the 82nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Hungary's Antal Valentin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Paraense having to interfere. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
