Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off which started today's match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rab Cura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RODOS F.C.'s Rab Cura did a great save. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Funes in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, RODOS F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Rab Cura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 22nd minute of play forced RODOS F.C.'s goalkeeper Rab Cura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rab Cura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. It was a well-played corner which Lars Meesters managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 33rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petros Meimarakis in the 35th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, RODOS F.C.'s Sakis Satrapis got a free kick in the 36th minute. When RODOS F.C.'s Marcin Wawro in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. 43 minutes into the match, Marcin Wawro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers, 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcin Wawro was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rab Cura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Rab Cura successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rab Cura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute of the match, Wim Wilmes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rab Cura saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rab Cura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 70th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rab Cura firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. David Eikelkamp hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Rab Cura in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. RODOS F.C. made a substitution. Dimitris Venieris replaced Gilberto Funes. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by RODOS F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Lars Meesters made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that RODOS F.C.'s Rab Cura managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 87th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Venieris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of RODOS F.C.'s Rab Cura. Rab Cura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
