After 16 minutes, Bivitas McPhil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Derrymullen FC and the Vasco Ji-Paraná FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Beiti Quinnless made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celsinho de Moraes in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Derrymullen FC defense, Didi Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beiti Quinnless. The Derrymullen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beiti Quinnless should have stopped the shot. Derrymullen FC's Beiti Quinnless played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho de Moraes in the 79th minute of play. Beiti Quinnless made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Queirós in the 81st minute of play. Juninho Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmons Ghee in the 83rd minute of the match. Derrymullen FC's Timmons Ghee was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Juninho Prata in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Beiti Quinnless didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Queirós went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Boyd Walker scored 6-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juninho Prata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Boyd Walker kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. There was no doubt that Vasco Ji-Paraná FC were the better team. Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
