The referee gave Vasco Ji-Paraná FC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ernani Amaral, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Westcliff on Sea's Irakliy Ozhogin. 2-1. Juninho Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipp Pereletov in the 21st minute of the match. If Gabriel Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Celsinho de Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juninho Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitaliy Subbotin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juninho Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipp Pereletov, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. With a little luck, Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Juninho Prata got control of the ball when Filipp Pereletov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juninho Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuil Kanavskiy in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Ernani Amaral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vasco Ji-Paraná FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Westcliff on Sea's zone, Ernani Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irakliy Ozhogin came out of the goal and Ernani Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artur Moreira lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vasco Ji-Paraná FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Vasco Ji-Paraná FC:s Juninho Prata showed great skill when he stopped Valentin Lepihin:s penalty. In the 71st minute of the match, Samuil Kanavskiy tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Juninho Prata saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Vasco Ji-Paraná FC defense, Vitaliy Subbotin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juninho Prata. The Vasco Ji-Paraná FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juninho Prata should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Queirós in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Irakliy Ozhogin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Lima in the 78th minute of play forced Westcliff on Sea's goalkeeper Irakliy Ozhogin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79th play minutes Gabriel Queirós shot 5-2, a short shot which went by Irakliy Ozhogin and just under the crossbar into goal. Juninho Prata made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Filipp Pereletov sent off a good shot on target. Didi Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92ndth minute of the game Gabriel Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Westcliff on Sea's Irakliy Ozhogin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Didi Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 99 minutes into the game, Filipp Pereletov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Juninho Prata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
