When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Didi Lima took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ernesto Jerrald to make any attempt to save it. In the 18th match minute, Sunchal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Cordarell to maneuver through the defense. Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Juninho Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Gitano in the 19th minute of play. Ernani Amaral scored 3-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Jerrald, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernesto Jerrald made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ernani Amaral sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Basualdo came free, but Juninho Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Sunchal's Oscar Basualdo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juninho Prata. That made the score 4-1 after 54 minutes of play. If Gabriel Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Juninho Prata got control of the ball when Anier Reno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernesto Jerrald didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernani Amaral went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Leandro Maore charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leandro Maore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sunchal getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Leandro Maore hit a great ball. In the 68thth minute of the game Gabriel Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sunchal's Ernesto Jerrald was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Celsinho de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Artur Moreira seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Artur Moreira the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vasco Ji-Paraná FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Artur Moreira had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 73rd minute, one of Vasco Ji-Paraná FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vasco Ji-Paraná FC. Juninho Prata had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Saturnino Atarratze's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ernesto Jerrald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Queirós in the 79th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Gitano got free with Juninho Prata in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juninho Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Maore, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Gabriel Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Jerrald having to interfere. Anier Reno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Juninho Prata made a huge save. Juninho Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Basualdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
