Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. If Vicco Rinnerer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, Radim Reckle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ekkehard Paroth came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Kurtalan's Kamber Paksoy. But to his dismay, Kamber Paksoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kurtalan's Kasım İlkut proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Kurtalan from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the match, Kurtalan's goalkeeper Kasım İlkut had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicco Rinnerer. The crowd rose to their feet as Vicco Rinnerer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kasım İlkut. That made the score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. Ekkehard Paroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamber Paksoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Kurtalan's Kamber Paksoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ekkehard Paroth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Toralf Eichler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th play minute Vicco Rinnerer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kasım İlkut. 2-2. Toralf Eichler might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kasım İlkut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toralf Eichler ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute, Radim Reckle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Vicco Rinnerer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toralf Eichler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasım İlkut having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Toralf Eichler managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1. FC Hüls's supporters rose to their feet, but Toralf Eichler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kasım İlkut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ekkehard Paroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yetkiner Varlık in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute, Yetkiner Varlık ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ekkehard Paroth was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, 1. FC Hüls's Ekkehard Paroth got control of the ball when Kamber Paksoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd minute of the match Kurtalan got a corner. 1. FC Hüls's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dinç Baltacı ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dinç Baltacı made a great header on Kurtalan's corner, it was just that 1. FC Hüls's Ekkehard Paroth managed to reach the ball for a save. Kasım İlkut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toralf Eichler in the 54th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicco Rinnerer in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kasım İlkut saved Kurtalan from getting behind. If Toralf Eichler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andre Räder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yetkiner Varlık in the 63rd minute of play forced 1. FC Hüls's goalkeeper Ekkehard Paroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loris Bornemann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Kasım İlkut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kasım İlkut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rüdiger Frieters in the 69th minute of the match. Kurtalan's Kasım İlkut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicco Rinnerer in the 70th minute of play. Kasım İlkut didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Loris Bornemann went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. If Rüdiger Frieters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Vicco Rinnerer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasım İlkut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kamber Paksoy during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of 1. FC Hüls booed when Kurtalan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamber Paksoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 1. FC Hüls's Ekkehard Paroth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save 1. FC Hüls from getting a goal against them. Toralf Eichler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, 1. FC Hüls's Andre Räder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kasım İlkut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kurtalan's İlker Koçak got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Kasım İlkut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toralf Eichler, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Kurtalan succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though 1. FC Hüls had controlled the match.
