After a rather tough play, Sunchal's Leandro Maore got a free kick in the 56th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Escaloneta77's Erasmo Goyanes tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Escaloneta77's goalkeeper Zacarías Encina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Musko Clemente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Jerrald having to interfere. In the 64th minute Aurre Beloki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Jerrald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Basualdo charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a defensive mix-up in Escaloneta77's zone, Jorge Gitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarías Encina came out of the goal and Jorge Gitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
