Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wim Van Meerbek kicked off to start the match. Westcliff on Sea's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Wim Van Meerbek scored to the left of an out of position Irakliy Ozhogin, making the score, 1-0. Bernd Gielis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuil Kanavskiy's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Irakliy Ozhogin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Van Meerbek, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Westcliff on Sea's Filipp Pereletov in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Winksele's goalie prevented a goal. Filipp Pereletov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Bernd Gielis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacq Jonckheere kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Winksele's Mickael Omblets slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Irakliy Ozhogin. That made the score 2-1 after 27 minutes of play. A collision led to Winksele getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ivan Roulin hit a great ball. Mickael Omblets's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Irakliy Ozhogin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Mickael Omblets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winksele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mickael Omblets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitaliy Subbotin during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Westcliff on Sea getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Vitaliy Subbotin hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wim Van Meerbek in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Irakliy Ozhogin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filipp Pereletov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The wind increased when Samuil Kanavskiy made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Westcliff on Sea's zone, Wim Van Meerbek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irakliy Ozhogin came out of the goal and Wim Van Meerbek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Samuil Kanavskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Westcliff on Sea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuil Kanavskiy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filipp Pereletov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernd Gielis having to make a save. Valentin Lepihin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to Winksele getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Senne Camps hit a great ball. Westcliff on Sea's Irakliy Ozhogin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Van Meerbek in the 74th minute of play. Bernd Gielis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filipp Pereletov in the 84th minute. In the 90th minute Wim Van Meerbek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irakliy Ozhogin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Winksele's Bernd Gielis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuil Kanavskiy in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95thth minute of the game Wim Van Meerbek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Westcliff on Sea's Irakliy Ozhogin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Winksele's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
