Westcliff on Sea's Irakliy Ozhogin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loris Bornemann in the 20th minute of play. Ekkehard Paroth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuil Kanavskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toralf Eichler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Irakliy Ozhogin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loris Bornemann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ekkehard Paroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuil Kanavskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Vicco Rinnerer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Irakliy Ozhogin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Westcliff on Sea's zone, Vicco Rinnerer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irakliy Ozhogin came out of the goal and Vicco Rinnerer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ekkehard Paroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuil Kanavskiy in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Loris Bornemann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Irakliy Ozhogin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Vicco Rinnerer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Westcliff on Sea's Vitaliy Subbotin got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toralf Eichler in the 66th minute of play forced Westcliff on Sea's goalkeeper Irakliy Ozhogin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Andre Räder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipp Pereletov kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Radim Reckle took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Irakliy Ozhogin. Irakliy Ozhogin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Radim Reckle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1. FC Hüls were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Westcliff on Sea to leave the ground with a draw.
