Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute, Winksele's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Romulo Truylos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Winksele's zone, Teofilo Ciceron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernd Gielis came out of the goal and Teofilo Ciceron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Roulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basilio Tano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Van Meerbek in the 17th minute of the match. Romulo Truylos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernd Gielis having to interfere. When Teofilo Ciceron came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Calchaqui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Ciceron couldn't finish the play. Blas Santikurtz kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Van Meerbek in the 29th minute of play forced Calchaqui's goalkeeper Basilio Tano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilo Ciceron took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernd Gielis. Bernd Gielis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Bernd Gielis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Ciceron in the 33rd minute of play. Elpidio Bieito was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Senne Camps came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Winksele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Senne Camps couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute Senne Camps shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Tano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Calchaqui's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Van Meerbek came free, but Basilio Tano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Senne Camps made the kick off in the second half. Teofilo Ciceron took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernd Gielis. Bernd Gielis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 55 minutes into the match, Calchaqui's goal looked a bit too open when Jacq Jonckheere came free, but Basilio Tano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calchaqui's Romulo Truylos got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Calchaqui booed when Winksele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wim Van Meerbek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Winksele's Bernd Gielis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Ciceron in the 58th minute of play. Senne Campss short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Basilio Tano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Senne Camps in the 66th minute of play forced Calchaqui's goalkeeper Basilio Tano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Teofilo Ciceron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernd Gielis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes Winksele's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elpidio Bieito who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Winksele's goalie and right to Omar Fix. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Winksele's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 71 minutes into the game, Jacq Jonckheere was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Winksele's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calchaqui the free kick. After a rather tough play, Winksele's Jacq Jonckheere got a free kick in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, Calchaqui's goalkeeper Basilio Tano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Van Meerbek. Basilio Tano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willem-Alexander Van Der Meeren in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Winksele booed when Calchaqui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Bieito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Romulo Truylos notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Winksele's Bernd Gielis. Bernd Gielis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Romulo Truylos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teofilo Ciceron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernd Gielis having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Calchaqui fans cheered their team off the field, for while Winksele had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
