In the 19th minute Renato Tapia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ross Barber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Rubén Blanco got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ross Barber. After a rather tough play, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Rubén Blanco got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When Guillermo Marin fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Club Celta de Vigo's protests and gave Guillermo Marin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Real Club Celta de Vigo getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. The wind increased when Eddie Sörman made the kick off in the second half. Pepe Toxeiro was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Victorino Ado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victorino Ado really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. After 61 minutes, Victorino Ado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fomac FK and the Real Club Celta de Vigo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fomac FK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Victorino Ado hit a great ball. Ross Barber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renato Tapia's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the Fomac FK defense, Renato Tapia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ross Barber. The Fomac FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ross Barber should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the match, Fomac FK's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Tapia came free, but Ross Barber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renato Tapia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Unai Nuñez was substituted for Cordera Unzueta. Pepe Toxeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Ado, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The Real Club Celta de Vigo support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
