Dalmau Trianes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Ivar Unesson made a huge save. The supporters of Älvsjö AIK booed when Porjus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gianni Giammarino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Pena hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Georg Termander was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Georg Termander got free with Georg Classon in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute Orvar Andreasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Unesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Porjus's Börje Jelm got a free kick in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Arif Ensar Usbey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ivar Unesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Orlando Pena came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Georg Classon could save by the left post. Börje Jelm kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Börje Jelm hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Porjus's Stefan Odman got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 82 minutes of play, Älvsjö AIK's Alvin Hellkvist made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivar Unesson was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Jelm in the 88th minute of play forced Älvsjö AIK's goalkeeper Georg Classon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Älvsjö AIK had won after a very even match.
