Ivar Unesson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 43 played minutes Real Club Celta de Vigo got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Arias. Börje Jelm took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pepe Toxeiro. Real Club Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lars Viklund's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pepe Toxeiro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Georg Termander made a kick off. Ivar Unesson made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Oscar Valcarcel sent off a good shot on target. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Unai Nuñez was substituted for Cordera Unzueta. Christoffer Mattsson hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Arias in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivar Unesson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Georg Termander scored 2-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pepe Toxeiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Rubén Blanco got a free kick in the 89th minute. The supporters of Porjus booed when Real Club Celta de Vigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferman Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Calisto Camacho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Club Celta de Vigo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porjus the free kick. Calisto Camacho hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
